Stops 'em! Dead quick! Twisted Evil
One of 4 kills in the last week or so.

Really! more terminal damage @ 12 fpe than a domed pellet
.22 @ 14 fpe. Twisted Evil

They have a very snug fit in my Crosman Storm
and are dead rat accurate. Twisted Evil

Nice kills!.... Twisted Evil
I've always loved Crow mags.Try those Preds when you get a chance. They're just nasty.
The critters are everywhere now.I spotted a mole in the side yard yesterday, but was unprepared... Rolling Eyes
Also have a pretty nasty limb rat to contend with. The little sucker attacked me in the yard a few days ago...no kidding.... Shocked I saw him...didn't think much of it until he ran around behind me,and up my back, right before deciding to use my head as a spring board to launch himself back into the tree. He's a mean one.I've seen him around for the last couple of weeks. When he sees me he stands his ground...I must be in HIS territory.

Any more rat attacks since then Mark or did you kill it? That would be one dead rat if one ever did that to me. lol

I have found that mature male tree rats with a lot of testosterone thanks to their large hangers can be quite stubborn and bold despite knowing they are in real danger of being shot. I have killed many of them that way when it was visible to me that everything in them was telling them to run away to safety after seeing me aim the rifle at them but they just wouldn't listen to their instinct because they were determined to hold "their" ground.

They were not new to me either. I know rats are not wary of being aimed at until they are shot at or have seen other rats shot but those had seen me shoot at them or other rats before and they were wary of me, yet I saw that they kept denying their physical reactions to escape and must have decided they just weren't going to allow me to "scare" them away. They died by MY tree in MY yard. hehehee

It always feels good to walk up to them afterward and give them the full salute: Faq-U

I think Mr. Squirrel is now weary about coming around. He was out sweeping the driveway today, and it ran up to him from the side.I guess what happened is when he saw it,he did his best Tiger Woods swing with the broom....sent the tree rat across the yard a$$ over tea kettle.... Laughing
Up the tree he went, and sat there looking back before taking off...

Good for him. That would have made a funny video. Shame you didn't get that on camera.

Hopefully it won't get too leery of you guys where it won't come near enough to shoot it now. You ought to go where it likes to attack you guys and stand there with your gun ready to make him do the death dance when he appears near you. I'd sit there in a chair for awhile if I had to but I'd get that sucker.
