SK, do they wig out for up to a minute until they finally die or are they dead within a few seconds?
I personally wouldn't be comfortable shooting a full grown rabbit with my 1000fps air hawk on the chance that it would suffer awhile until death, even though I have seen that others have killed them with it. Your pistol doesn't seem like it would have enough power to kill them quick but you are using .22 pellets and they are pointed which could help them penetrate deeper so who knows. |

with a good solid headshot, they were instantly dead (tramatic shock) i guess.
a bad shot, even to the body and they fell over kicking but when i got to them i would pick them up and give them a brisk chop behind the neck which finished them off.
btw, theres a screw on the end of the barrel that allows you to adjust the power. for those who might find their gun lacking in power.
doesnt take much to kill a rabbit. (very fragile animals) |
