I have been trying to save up for multiple Air Gun products that add up to about $400.
The problem is, i dont have any source of income. What are a few ways i can make a few bucks here and there? Im 14 years old. |

Good job you are ready to earn money for you hobbies! Here are some ideas:
Neighbourhood yard/garage clean up... grass cutting, snow shovelling, dog sitting. Then there is the very popular paper route. When you get a few years older, you an get part time job in fast food or retail. You will have money and then some for airgunning. |

+1. Make up some flyers for your services. I'm the type of person that would hire a youngster not so much cuz I need the help but because I like to see the initiative of a youngster doing for themselves. I bought me many of airguns/skateboards etc mowing lawns when I was 11-15. Shoot for $10/hr. Now @ 35 I own/run a family business.
Good luck! |

Hi Jr. Squirreler,
I like your attitude too, shows integrity. Where about are you located?
The above ideas are good ones, it somewhat depends on where you live too as to what's available to you? You might also consider running errands for elderly folks that could be a potential job source.
Of course there is always pest control too, depending on where you live and if there might be any problem about you transporting a pellet gun around? You'd just have to be sure of where your shooting and what's behind your target if you miss for some reason.
Also if you like to take pictures and there's a local news paper they sometimes pay for some good shots of news worthy items, if you do think this is of interest always only sell, One Time 1st. publication rights as the image you take belongs to you and you alone and can be resold for Second publication rights and so on. Many news papers and magazines want exclusive rights which would command a much higher procurement fee for you giving up your ownership of the image. A really good interesting image always commands more so don't just give your work away, always be sure to mark all your shots:

Also save all the plastic containers withe the triangular recycle symbol on them as that can be pretty good money too.
Don't forget glass bottles either with the symbol.
Like BBgunNoob said, your doing pretty good with the video stuff, how about talking with a few people about producing a video for them for advertisement?
That should be some very good money there for you. Photography or video is darn good money if you find a willing buyer, someone in need of your services.
I know as I've been in photography for the last 45 years. |

Hi JS,
The Bi-pod:
As far as a barrel Bi-pod, if your thinking of using it for more than photographic purposes I'd advise against it as it changes the harmonics of the barrel and you probably won't get the same accuracy as before. At least that the way it seems to work with firearms and most of these Break Barrels have considerable jump to them which is just another shock to the barrel and pivot bolt and scope.
A stock mount that is piviotable, will rock from side to side, to allow for the uneven ground is the best kind to get. Caldwell makes a very nice one that attaches to a regular sling stud on a rail added on to the stock of the rifle, but as the barrel comes so far back I'm not sure if that could be adapted or not?
Ok, on my synthetic stock it appears it can be but just behind the cocking lever relieved space.
The Scope:
I don't know which one your considering but I'm looking at the new/current line of Leapers scopes: The Accushot SWAT [Side Wheel Adjustable Turret for focusing] Mil-Dot Reticle with 1/8 MOA adjustments and six Mil-Dots in both directions for corrections plus an EZ illuminated Touch Pad Red & Green which can be changed back and forth with changing the illumination setting! Great for low light situations or heavy shadow areas. They've been tested against the heaviest Recoil Air Rifle for 750 shots with no failure in anyway and very good accuracy as claimed.
Here's the link to this scope with the best price I've found and free shipping too! Unfortunately out of stock at present.

Btw, what pellets do you find to be the most accurate of the Crosman's?
I hope everything works out for you.

Say JS,
Just found positive proof:
Leapers builds Center Point Scopes, they're one and the same!
Compare the Leapers scope I want, the link above and then look at this link showing the Center Point scope. Remember Center Point doesn't have any real home base, Leapers on the other hand does. Center Point is always more costly too!

I found that the Crosman Heavy Domed Pellets work the best in almost all of my Air Rifles. They pack a really great punch. And Thank You. |

This is good advice. The dog(and cat) sitting could be for people who work during the day and would want their pets to have someone with them which could include playing with and walking them to get them tired so they won't be so energized with their owners, bathing them and feeding them or cleaning out litter boxes, plus giving pets any daily meds if needed.
The yard work could include landscaping like weed eating, bush & limb trimming, weed removal from flowerbeds, raking, yard watering ect. If they already have someone that mows/landscapes for them you could offer a lower price to do it and see if they bite.
Right now you can also offer to clean pools for people too. People hate having to do that and if they already have someone that cleans them you could offer to do it for less than what they're currently paying too.
Washing cars is another option.
Good luck. In this economy don't be surprised if a lot of people turn you down due to lack of funds. |
