Over time, I have modified what started out as a Benjamin Lagacy into different things.
First it went from a Legacy (bought used from some guy who sanded the checkering off the stock for no good reason) to a "Genesis" by swapping the stock.
Never shot it much, so when I had some NPSS parts laying about- I converted it to a gas-ram. Shoots .177 7.9gr pellets a consistent 850fps with no vibration of significant recoil to speak of...

| Nice, always have liked that stock. Did you have to stuff it with anything or is it fine being hollow with the ram? |

| Isn't that rifle also based on a regular Gamo? |

I don't understand what you mean? Used a piston from a Crosman/Remington NPSS and a gas strut from a Benjamin (slightly less powerful than the Remington unit)- no other sort of spacers or such were used. |

Nice job Eric. Thats a good looking stock.
I think Domer is talking is referring to stuffing the the hollow portion of the buttstock cavity. It takes some of the clang out of the hollow stock. |

| Ah- the hollow stock stuffing- sorry, I had completely forgotten about it. With the gas ram it isn't stuffed and really isn't noticeable- not like when it was a regular springer in any event. |

Haha, yeah that was my fault a bit too, I read over and even said to myself, "what the...?"
That's actually what I suspected to happen but never can be sure. Even after getting my Genesis tuned I wasn't sure the stock needed stuffing anymore |
