I recently bought a 1377 from a friend for a ridiculously good price and decided to do some work on it.

I ordered a steel breach, FTP kit, woodward sear and an adjustable trigger spring from Eric.

Tonight I got busy and polished the sear face of the hammer and got the gun all back together.

It works great, except....It never occured to me that the stock rear sight wouldn't work with the steel breach Huh? Stitzenkof!

And I'm stuck at work for two weeks ERIC HELP!!!!!!

Lol.

Get a file and some sandpaper out- you can contour the old rear sight to fit the steel breech (and, strangely enough- Crosman puts a longer rear sight screw in the Steel Breech Kit so it will fit- despite the fact there is no mention the sight base must be "shaped" to fit it...)

Thanks Eric

I was looking at the sight this morning pondering the idea of chopping it to slide into the dovetail. Apparently I have something to keep me off the streets tonight too Mr. Green

Well I made some progress on the sight this evening. After modifying the rear sight to sit flush on the dovetail flat I still had to add a 1/8 " post to the front blade.

It's retaining air after only ten pumps. I didn't expect that and I did not bring my chrony to test the velocity but the crisp "crack" sound tells me I've made progress
