I am stuck on taking apart my dads 1400... where do I go from here?
it seems as if the safety wasnt there then I could just pull the stock down and the trigger frame and such up and out but...... Im lost.
Also,
what gun is this?
I cant really give any details other than the fact that it is pretty weak and very shiny... I know its not an airgun but figured Id ask.

If you haven't taken any guns apart before- put the 1400 away and go back to it after you've been through some other guns- it is not an "easy" gun to work on and can be easily messed up- and parts for it aren't so easy to come by for 35+ year old guns.
The second gun- yank it apart all you like- it's a $20.00 BAM B2- essentially a throw-away piece. However, it makes for a great "trainer" for repairs/tuning as you can break it badly and not be out any significant amount of money.
