A while ago I was looking at modifying my trigger and thought about grinding down the sear a little. Al recommended against doing this but I just did it anyway! Cool

My trigger pull length has decreased by over half and I have an amazing hair trigger on it now. Its so badass! tomorrow when its light out ill have to see what it does for my accuracy

Hi dedpool
I think it was 23ib0d0n who advised against grinding down the sear, and as you have found out the travel has decreased to an hair trigger, which can be unsafe, the problem is once you have ground it off you can't put it back.
Just be carefull, when you have cocked it don't cough! Smile

Al

yeah i actually came pretty close to screwing it up. If I pump it too hard it sometimes goes off. hahaha that sounds dirty. anyway, so now I wait till its pumped to load the pellets.

ive only taken that much off a sear once, i scrapped the airgun after that as any airgun with a trigger with that short a pull is unsafe and an accident waiting to happen in my eyes

Thats a neat pistol J, What is it and is the barrel shroud to help with cocking, or just a base for the scope.

I like light triggers. If you check out match-rifles, or pistols, they all have pretty light triggers.

A Walther .22 Rimfire Match gun for instance has an ultra light trigger, and I'm loving it.

Diana p5 magnum with the safety latch removed, shoots hobbies over 600fps and shoots an few 8 grain pellets about 560fps. Light rifle power in a compact pistol.

Yes

Scope is an old japanese 'Beeman', possibly hakko, and is mounted with Millett angle loc extention rings to an AirGunToys custom fabricated weaver base shroud. Shoots well. Tough to cycle that short springer action. Pretty good trigger, similar in feel to the 6m giss built match pistol. Shroud with scope mounted also feels like it helped to reduce muzzle flip and torque rotation as well.
