May have to end up building a 22xx HPA thing with
removable / folding stock....

Ideas needed... Its prob so obveyous its gone clean
over my head.... Embarassed

I've seen them mounted to handle bars, but they're gonna take a beating if you ride like I do.

I'd go with a gun you can break down. A carbine with removable stock would seem best. Load it up into a back pack. You won't even know it's there. Once you reach your hunting destination, pull it out, assemble, load and you're hunting. Smile

You could also carry it over your back with a gun sling, but it depends on if you are just on trails or if you are on the road. The locals might wonder what that crazy guy on the motorcycle is doing with a gun stretched across his back. POSTAL!

Here are a few ideas too...

Clench it in your teeth- like a real man! Mr. Green

Other than maybe strapping it to your back- ?

Do a Google (image) search for motorcycle+scabbard.

It also probably depends upon what your local laws dictate. Here in Minnesota a gun must be cased and unloaded to legally carry it in a vehicle - so I would need to use a hard case instead of a scabbard.

Here are some ideas:

There is a guy around town that has his licensed for street use. Looks pretty cool seeing that drab green bike going down the city street. Cool

Carry the gun in your left hand.

When I was in Peace Corps the clutch cable snapped on my Ministry of Agriculture dirt bike. The balance of trade was so poor that there was no foreign currency to buy parts from Japan. That cable pulled a lever on a splined shaft, so I removed the side plate and clamped a vise grip in the lever's place - clutching with my right foot. It worked great, except for starting out - left foot off the ground for the gear lever, right foot up for the clutch, and me trying to balance at a dead stop.

Specialty carriers that mount on the rear seat are also available, although I have heard that maintenance costs are high.

There's two ideas for you.

That would make some pretty decent sense.

I think you need some kind of special primer for those. Sniper would know - I think it's called UBC (universal blonde colorant) or something like that.
