OK, so it's just a cheap Daisy Powerline 880 to some of you, but to me, it's been my little buddy for about 18 years.
I bought this back in 1993. I think it was the last year they made it with the steel breech.
Anyway, I decided I was tired of the brown "wood-like" stock, so I took it apart and painted it. I also used 400 grit sand paper and sanded the white highlights. They were getting a little yellow.
Here it is. It's a two-tone gray color. The paint I used was this neat stuff that separates into a two-tone appearance as it dries.
This thing is still a good shooter.

I like refurbished stocks especially in basic colour’s, very nice highlighting.
I also find that if you like the colour you shoot it more.

Thanks, guys. I was very happy with the turnout.
Al, You are right about that. Like the stock brown grips Crosman puts on the 1377. Wow, where'd they get that idea? 
It's a really easy pumper, too. From the first push of the pump handle to the last, all just as easy. Unlike my Crosman Model 140. I love that gun, but I really have to be in the mood to pick it up and shoot it. Pumps 1-3 are fine, but 4 and up are like wrestling a bear.

| A definite improvement over the brown plastic. It's a very pleasing color scheme, and well executed. |

Actually, the paint is curing very nicely. I think I'll let it go without a clear coat. I put a clear coat on another airgun paint job and, after some time, it now looks kind of crackly. |
