Just a few of the air guns I have accumulated over the years.

That is a sort of 'mid-size' collection, isn't it? How are those two lever-actions treating you? Mr. Green

Outdoorsman ,
I made a mistake on the 3rd variant it should have said 13 variant.I do believe I bought it around 1969 or 70 so its not to old yet.I have to say though out all the 25's I have it shoots the hardest. It will go thru both sides of a soup can which isn't to bad for an old Daisy. But that smooth bore is all over the place.Talk about flyers ! Geez! 5 good shots then one 4"-5"to the right or maybe the left even could be up or down. But thats just smooth bore BB Guns.

hey dont dis the red ryder it was a great little starter gun for me when i was 8 or 9.lol
and ill tell ya it has a better finish on it than my phantom.... ive left the red rider out side for weeks (irresponsible i know) and it hasn't a mark of rust on it my phantoms barrle has small dots all over the barrel ive not left it outside or anything

So in other words, if you buy another gun today, you wouldn't buy the Red Ryder, would you? Sometimes I am just trying to figure out why people buy certain airguns.

The Red Ryder really is about the closest thing to what might be called a "toy" airgun (excluding airsoft stuff of course) out there. A trainer for kids and not much more I'd say...

I went to a toy show in Dearborn Mich(1990). This guy had about 15 of the R/R Limited Editions on saterday he was asking $35 for them,me and a buddy went back late sunday just for the hell of it, same guy had 3 left marked half off.So for $15(after a little talking to him) I bought one.
A couple years before I bought this one(Picture below) for $30 from the same guy
