Nice shot string except for the very last shot.... It almost looks like the velocity curve is turning upwards again.... but that didn't happen with the same settings and pellet on the first graph....

One bad pellet?....

Mine is the same with cuda's. In the beginning jsb 18.1's worked, then they didn't. Then crowmags worked, then they didn't. Last shooting with cuda's I was getting a lot of poi shift. I don't know (or think) It's the scope.

Once I get another tank I'm gonna do some serious paper punching and take it back to mac-1 if needs be. Neutral

Bob, I thought that was strange also, almost looks like the way a regulated PCP shifts at regulator set point. I'm going to repeat the string to forty shots and see what it looks like, but 1st I need to get more Kodiaks. Pellets sure go fast when your tuneing and sighting in with a horrible barrel.!

Sniper, I'm getting really frustrated with the barrel! I think I may order another one from Crosman for the 24.00 bucks and see if I can get it to shoot better. If not I think I may get an HW barrel from MAC1.

That was my first thought, but the MROd is not regulated.... and it didn't show up in the middle of your previous shot string with Kodiaks at around 2000 psi.... or any of the strings, for that matter.... From the numbers on the graph, you didn't change the gun settings.... so it must be some kind of anomaly.... I'm guessing a second string wouldn't show it.... or maybe it might show up in a different spot.... Could have been a loose, or tight, pellet.... or maybe you had an FTS pellet in the tin of Kodiaks.... Rolling Eyes

Bob, Now that you say it I bet a lighter pellet did fall into that part of the box.(bad science on my part) I can't see how the Mrod would get a spike since its not regualated. I like my regulated rifle a lot better, more predictable IMO. And the best thing is it shoots anything I stick in it. I ordered JRA breech for it. I may actually sell the Mrod, or get a different barrel. Its nice but like you've said in other posts its heavy!
