I have a Feinwerkbau 124 air rifle. I had a smith replace the 30 year old seals this fall. When I got it back it was shooting fine. Dime size groups at 30 yards off a bench. I probably put 200 rounds through it since the new seals. I have not done much with it for a couple months. I got it out today and it was around 15 degrees outside. My wife has a bird feeder out and the starlings were taking it over. An easy 20 yard shot at the first one did not even scare the bird away. The second one did, but I think it was noise from the gun. I got my target out and bench and the gun was all over the place. I'm talking 12" or more different points of impact at 30 yards. The gun seemed like it was not shooting at full power one shot and then the next it was.It would not shoot a group at all. I tried at fired 50 rounds trying. I know my scope is good. I went from shooting dimes to not being able to hit a basketball. What could be causing this poor accuracy? Could it be the cold temps? Should I contact the company that installed the new seals and see what they may have to say? I got my old 30.00$ beat up Crossman pump master which cost less than the seals alone in the FWB and quickly took care of several starlings.

15C shouldn't make much difference. 15 F could make the difference.
I have noticed some issues at -10 C (15F) and below compared with 25C. I suspect the seal is temperature sensitive and not working properly giving variying degrees of power. I find that I'm only good for 30 minutes in below freezing temps. then my trigger finger goes numb and all bets are off.

I've always believed that when your fingers are too stiff to load the gun or pull the trigger, it's a sign from above to just go home.
