| Greetings. I am new and need some help. When I was young I bought a .22 CO2 Airgun (late 60's early 70's). It was working fine until a couple of years ago when I tried to use it but found a gas leak. Since then I have been looking for parts, specially seals, with no luck. In the barrel it says: 2918 Bobcat cal.22 "TAIYO JUKI" Japan. Where I can buy replacement parts for it? Thanks for your help[/i] |

| You may be able to reseal it with O-rings. It was not uncommon to build airguns with more or less 'standard' sized O-rings. I have had good luck over the years with reaching into the big box assortment from MSC. The down side is that you have to take it apart and see what you need.... |

Not a timley reply I know but I have just pulled the valve of of my Sheridan CO2! How do they expect it NOT to leak? One end of the valve had nothing there to make a seal and it is designed to seal up while being assembled inside the tube, where you cant see inside. Why did they make most of it brass, and the front end steel?
Im going to try to solder mine together and see if O rings can be used
too.
(when it cools off!) I think if a Sheridan CO2 was charged and placed in a water tank, it would look like a punctured bike tyre. |
