For a visual, it looks a lot like this, only silver: Now, I have a Beeman 1073. The barrels on the 1073 look like this: I don't like the Beeman barrel...namely, the front site. It's giant, plastic, and sits in the scope. Normally, I would just cut the end of the barrel off...but I like the .22 cal, the gun still has a warranty, and, namely, that doesn't require near as much tinkering. I want to machine the end of the 10/22 barrel to fit the Beeman receiver, but I want to make sure that the barrel will still fit .22 cal pellets the same.   Posted: Sat Dec 11, 2010 9:30 pm rsterne Moderator Joined: 15 Jan 2008 Posts: 2998 Location: Coalmont, BC Nope, different bore size.... I could use it launch heavier .22 lr slugs, but I don't know how well that would all work. I'm just not going to worry about this project. I have a paintball gun, though, and I've been thinking a lot about PCP guns lol...if anyone might have a suggestion or two there...   Posted: Tue Dec 14, 2010 8:40 am jlwilliams Veteran Member Joined: 02 Oct 2009 Posts: 264 Location: Jacksonville, NC USA I've used Crosman 2260 barrel for projects in the past. They are pretty long, about two fet give or take. Plenty to cut down for whatever .22 pellet shenanigans you may want to get into. They cost WAY less than a Walther Lothar blank. Not as good, but still a good piece of air rifle pipe. They are cheap enough that I don't remember what they cost, if that's any indication. I think I got one from Jim at Crooked Barn last time I needed one. The 2260 barrels are only 7/16" and might be a bit thin for a break barrel. If you really love the gun... and willing to spend a few bucks.... both for the blank and chambering it to fit the Beeman...
