Have used this scope for ~a month-it was bought specifically to go on my AA S410---so here's the "poop"...made by Simmons, it is 3-9x32 AO scope, comes in silver ($64.99) or matte black ($62.99). It weighs ONLY 10 ounces!!! It is designed for .22 magnum rimfire rifle. The adjusters have very positive "clicks" when adjusting, and are easy to read...have screw-on caps, no tools needed to adjust.
The AO and magnification adjusters both operate very smoothly, not overly stiff.
The reticle is a "truplex" does NOT have mil-dots, but the multi-thickness of reticle lines does aid somewhat in aiding with hold-over and under, to a certian degree..gives ma about 1 mil-dot of "over" and "under" . This scope is serving me very well up to 50 yards, which is about as far as I plan to shoot this gun. I'm aware that on this " higher level of airgun" (pricewise) you see them with scopes that have like 8-24X60 AO, illuminated, side -wheel, three and four hundred dollar units......I personally have never spent more than $175.00, and that much JUST ONCE, and sold it because it wasn't near as good, for me anyway, as a $75.00 CenterPoint from WallyWorld......so..that's it....it gives a great view, is lightweight, easy to operate and not expensive......hope this may help someone that is thinking /wondering about a scope for their air rifle. My name is Rodger, and I approved this message.

Simmons Scopes are pretty decent. Used a bunch of them in my late teens. Just remember not to have a Scope on a Rifle that cost quite a bit less. The opposite is true as well. You can but others will look at you like you're stupid.

I agree with that...luckily, I'm old enough now that I don't much care what folks think of me.....I just thought I'd post this to let folks know that it is NOT mandatory to spend a fortune for a scope just to get what you need.....a $400.00 scope on a $650.00 gun sure seems like ..............to me. YMMV, as this is just my personal preference Cool

My grandfather and I had several Simmons Scopes. Most had Pro-Diamond Recticles. Had one Leupold Scope out of the bunch.

Ruger 10/22
Mossberg 500 Slugster 20ga
Remington 870 Youth 20ga
Norinco MAK-90: My 1st Rifle
Savage 99-CD
Savage 99-E
Tikka Cont. Varmit
Remington 700ML
Thompson Center Hawken
Smith&Wesson 586 8in
Ruger Security-Six
Smith&Wesson Model 10
Ruger Super Blackhawk Hunter
Rock Island 1911-A1 Govt.

With the exception of the Tikka and Norinco, all Long Guns had Simmons Scopes on them. The Norinco being an AK-47 didn't have a Scope on it though my grandfather tried getting me mount one on it.
