I got my custom hand-made stock by Peter ( of Top Gun Air Guns)..MAN OH MAN..talk about a "kid at Christmas!! " it's lighter than the factory beech stock and is well...just look at the pix..they should tell the story..when we were talking, I gave Peter the name of 4 different woods that I liked, and for him to just pick one of those and surprise me!!! I THINK this is the "black limba"..have no idea about the cap tip or the schnaubel...I'll have to ask Peter.....ANYHOW, I am one happy little camper. The LOP is absolutely perfect, it's lighter in weight, and just fits me to a "T"...the inletting is excellent, the action laid down in there perfectly-- :-* :-*

I'm generally not a fan of thumbhole stocks, but in this case I'll make an exception; that is one gorgeous gun! And it fits you, too! Nothing like a stock that fits... Beauty and function in the same object, a rare combination!

Thanks-I am just as happy as I can be with it !!! I bought a CrosmanNPSS when they first came out..It had a "sort of" TH stock...but being production, it was a one size fits all, naturally. Bottom line is , I liked the feel and the look both !! Turned out I HATED the gun, but that's a different story...the more I've looked at the higher end guns, Daystate, FX, etc,..the more TH stocks I saw and the more I saw ,the more I liked them.
When I got the AA S410 I joined the English AAOC website forum.....LOTS of TH stocks on those guns. The looks are what sold me...add to that the fact that you get to choose the size of palm swell , the exact LOP you want, height of comb, type of wood, etc,etc,etc.. well it's just toooo much for a guy to resist ,in some cases Mr. Green

I thought about that, but it IS gonna go in the woods squirrel hunting just like my other guns..if(WHEN ) it gets scratched, dented, dinged, I'll rant and rave and cuss like a sailor, then I'll get over it Mr. Green

Sure, I'll be careful, but I already know it's gonna happen sooner or later...No sense having a gun if I can't use it...
