I don't know what fitting is on the Talon reservoir- the Marauder pump will have a standard 1/4" QD connector- not sure about the Talon. The idea is that you may require an adapter, but that would be all.

I agree with Pete here. If a pump is all you can get your hands on then I guess you gotta go for an adapter, but you'll be better off filling from a bigger bottle.

The Talon needs an adapter to use with the foster fitting...AoA sells the adapter..IIRC it's actually a 2 piece affair..
GOOD LUCK with pumping up that big (490cc ) tank with a hand pump...you'll need lots of time and a good strong back...

Thanks.

My plan is to get it filled at paintball shop where they fill HPA. After it's filled the first time I can pump it up as it gets low enough to effect accuracy. Hopefuly 'topping off' won't be that bad. At least untill I can set some $ aside to pick up a used scuba tank.

Isn't a pump pretty much as expensive as a small tank?

Here's ONE example..I KNOW it's true cause I'm the one that bought it all..
1. Fx Stage IV Turbo Pump---$289.95 plus shipping

2. 66 cu.ft., 4500 psi, SCBA tank with new hydro test ( 4 years of use left), liquid filled gauge adapters, 3 ft. stainless steel hose, delivered to my door $ 350.00

Now, which one of those is the better deal to you?? I assembled that FX pump, pumped it for a total of about 15 minutes...put it on the "YELLOW CLASSIFIED ADS", and ordered the SCBA set-up the very next day. Lost money on the pump..but Boy !!! I learned a very valuable lesson.

Maybe I should get a CO2 adapter to use while I'm waiting to get a scuba tank. The reason I want to use the pump is that I already have it and use it for my Marauder. Maybe an adapter would be a bigger PITA that it's worth, when for about the same money I can use CO2 for a month or two and still have that option after I get the tank.

From your location I would remind you that CO2 does not work as well in cold weather.
