Thought I'd try something a bit different.
(At least until you guys start shooting better.... cough)
Broke out the pistol and had a go.
(I've been shooting it off and on lately, so
I'm not completely rusty....)
It was nice standing closer and being
able to see the target!!

A lot harder aiming at the irregular targets using
regular pistol sights. Missed one chilcken completely
and one bull and got an 8.

Steyr LP1 RWS MK
5m open sights
8:35

120/130

umm, the rules said 15 shots. So, on the man-shaped targets, you get one shot at the head OR the body. Not a shot at each. Also, if you added up the
total points on the target, you would get 145.

So, you have to decide whether or not to shoot at the 8 pt head target
or the 5 pt body target. You don't get to shoot at both.
(At least not how I understood the rules....)

Still short of shooters this week unfortunately MJM has to be disqualified for taking 18 shots instead of 15.

Nice to see oatring struggling this shoot. Mr. Green
Well done T191032 on a difficult target.

I'm sorry, MJM. I didn't mean for you to get disqualified....
Just wanted to point out something that I'm sure you overlooked.
In fact, when we have shot previous man-shaped targets,
you could shoot at each zone.
So, it was a little confusing....

But, the 10m game is full of rules. I even have to get the tightness
of my ISU shooting coat checked before matches!!
(Yet another reason to lay off the fattening food before matches)

Seeing me struggle? Lol, Hey, Al, didn't see your target....

I may keep shooting the pistol. Should be satisfying to beat all
of you guys scoped rifles....

I didn't see MJM's target until it was to late for him to re-shoot, I guess it was a bit confusing especially if you have previously shot that type of target before. the thing is read the rules they do change from shoot to shoot regarding scoring and shots taken.

Better luck next time MJM as even without the extra shot it was a good score.

Al
