I like it!....Looks like it could be a really nice pack gun...not too crazy about the angular front of that fore stock, but that can be reshaped... It would be ideal especially with the Crosman carbine stock, that from what I hear will come with the pistol...and of course it's stupid quiet.
Only thing is for a little more coin you could have a Talon SS...another great choice for the pack.Although I've heard that the SS takes a considerable amount of time to dial in,and the power settings can be inconsistent? Also I take it there have been some reliability issues with the SS?I'm kind of leaning towards the M-rod...but it's going to be a while before I make a decision on that.....I love my 2300KT with a carbine stock, however it doesn't have quite the juice I'm looking for in some instances......
Of course I have thought of converting the KT to HPA,but I decided to keep it basically stock...as for what it does it does very well.

| I had a TalonSS, I experienced NONE of the negatives that you mentioned. It was almost perfect right out of the box...just had to put a scope on it and get it zero'ed in..Of all the guns I've had and sold, I miss it the most......don't know what I was thinking, but I sure wish I had it back!!! |

| If you are looking at it as a pack gun, then the magazine has to weigh heavily in favor of the Marauder. |

That's right...I remember you saying you had one a while back.Again,I'm only going on what I've read on some other forums,as I have zero experience with AirForce rigs. For the most part I see people like them...I guess just as with other products, lemons exist. The gun appeals to me because of the breakdown capability, but so does the M-rod pistol with a carbine stock...and the quietness factor....
Would you say that the SS is quieter with the power wheel cranked, than say a stock 2240 etc....just curious. |

Absolutely...that is a big factor there, can't beat quick follow up shots if needed. |

I'd say the 2240 is louder...if you put GTBJ shroud on a TSS it gets so quiet you wonder if you've run out of air |

| In the youtube it looks like the stock is a permanent attachment. So I ask what is the difference in a rifle and a pistol with a stock? |

The pistol comes with the optional carbine stock, that you can take off,and replace with grips. Its not permanently fixed.Same grip frame as a 2240 pistol, though the trigger supposedly is a two stage adjustable unit......
In addition to the stock,it also comes with a Centerpoint optics red dot...
Not a bad little package from what I can see so far... |

| You know, as much as I like the optional stock for the 2240 pistols, it would be even better if it was no tools quick detachable. A folding option would be a winner too. |

It is if you purchase the lock pin and spring from a 2289.... no screws required....
