One problem here- can't use Weaver-style rings on a dovetail mount.
"Droop compensating" setups are a waste of money, shim your rings if/as required. |

Yes, IF you use the Leapers mount, then you can use the Burris rings.
However, the mount is a not a requirement, you are assuming you will have problem without any evidence of such. Those Burris rings also look to be a fairly low-end product- are they aluminum or steel? If Aluminum there is no material there, and the one hold-down screw per side is just plain cheap- if you're looking at a Leapers mount are are convinced you need it, then get a set of better quality rings from Leapers as well: http://www.leapers.com/prod_detail.php?mitem=mount&level1=Scope_Ring&level2=&itemno=RG18W-25MA&status=&mtrack=12m
notice the amount "meat" on them- which is a good idea for aluminum rings. Also note, 2 screws per side on the hold-down. Unless the Burris rings are made of steel and I'm not seeing a second screw, they are a waste of time on an airgun and are likely to shift constantly. |
