I was going to install a Hawke Airmax 3-9x40 AO scope on my RWS 52 and was thinking of using the Leapers droop compensating mount for my rifle and was wondering if anyone is using this combo and what brand and height rings they are using. Or if anyone has a better scope mounting solution that they are using on this rifle with great success. I was considering the Warne Maxima or Hawke Matchmount fixed rings in either the low or medium height but I have never used either of them. |

Save the money and shim the rings if/as required. |

With Burris 1" Signature Zee Weaver-Style Rings you can get a shim set for them and the rings come standard with inserts so your scope will not get marred. I am going to try them. |

Duplicate post, essentially.
You cannot put a Weaver-style mount on a dovetail rail. |
