Hello all first post!!
Looks like a great forum and I look forward to being an active participant.
I have a question regarding my Walther lever action pellet gun and the UTG scope (Leapers) I purchased (4-16X40).
I installed the custom Walther scope mount and my scope which came with Weaver mounts. When I tried to sight it in, I adjusted all the way up and it is still firing below target at 10 yards by 3". Is there a cure for this problem as there is no more up adjustment? The mounts seem to be non adjustable. Are there shims or some other cure or did I do something wrong???
Please help a first time poster!!!!
Thanks

Shim the rear ring underneath the scope- you can use electrical tape (go one layer at a time and only on the bottom half of the ring). However, 3" at 10 yards is pretty significant- may be just a POS scope. |

You will need about 0.025" of shims with a 3" ring spacing....

I will give the shimming a try. I was very surprised to see it off by so much. Perhaps the Walther mount is the problem.

The Walther mounting bracket is not the best for fastening a scope on a Winchester, but I don't think there is anything else that will do the job.
There are adjustable mounts available but expensive.
