It started out as a cheap Chinese AK-47 knock off. After a good tuneup and a few mods its a very good little shooter with groups from 100ft @1/2 inch.
The tune gave it close to 700fps.As you know the Chinese wood was a mess so I sanded it down and gave it a flat black lacquer paint job to finish the militarized look. The real AK-47 mag was gutted and adapted to fit, its(also removable ) and is now a storage unit for the .177 pellets
The 6X32 Bug Buster Scope from Leapers really put a nice touch to it and funcitions very well.
How it looked after the mods. And the way it came but mine had the dark brown painted or dipped wood

You have quite a tidy AK there Bob and to get 1/2" groups at 100' is very good for a cheap chinese airgun. Thumb Up!

BTW welcome to the site Welcome!

Al

Hey, recently I've been looking around a bit for cheap chinese airrifles. I'm planning on a QB88/TF88. Isn't that one a bit comparable to the B3-1. Or am I mistaking and am I actually talking about the B4-1 which is rubbish. Neutral

Nice job, Bob. Didn't like the mystery Chinese wood? Wink

Has anyone figured out exactly what the lightweight Chinese wood really is?
