... that BAM is stopping the production of the clones, and they will only produce for certain companies. Anyone who's more in the business who knows more about it?

Don't know anything about it- but it makes sense; if BAM is making guns for some larger manufacturers/airgun companies- why should they be allowed to continue selling "clones" of the same products.

Crosman, for example, which has three models of rifle made by BAM, had an agreement since Day 1 that BAM could not sell these models in the US market under their own name.

Mind-you this could all be BS, but it doesn't sound implausible.

Didn't BAM purchase the Beeman name?.... Is it possible all the clones will come out under that brand?.... Just a thought.... Question

Industry Brand bought Beeman/Marksman (the actual company name is S/R Industries), not BAM.

So far they (S/R Industries) have proven to be disorganized, without any sort of go-forward plan and alot of fiddling and farting around without doing much of anything it seems. From what I had gathered from employees (past and present (well present at the time a few months ago)) they laid off a bunch of long-term Beeman people and wouldn't let anyone make a decision without one of the new Chinese (as in fresh-from-China) managers approving. Was sounding like a real wonderful place to work...

Either way, BAM is a different organization and they seem to have grown into the OEM-type business quite well, whereas Industry Brand can't seem to figure out what the heck they're doing.

Whelp, I only have 30 Euro's left on my bank account so I am not buying one of the last Chinese ones, although I personally have the feeling a lot of stores in Poland and other Eastern block countries still have them stacked.

i'm clicking with the guy who tuned mine about parts. he said it's the
piston and compression tube with a few other parts becoming scarce.
springs and seals are easy to come by.

i'm trying to buy all the parts to do one is not 2 full rebuilds on it.

that may sound crazy and "why not just get an R-9",

but for the little amount of money i have into it- $300-
it is a way impressive shooter.

or maybe in the future i might happen upon someone
who can teach me how to do it myself.

worst case sell the parts for double. Mr. Green
