Air Gun Home Forum Index » Hunting, Pest Control, Varminting » "squeek" and 'ping"    View previous topic :: View next topic  "squeek" and 'ping"   Posted: Sat Sep 04, 2010 1:06 am sniper Silver Status Member Joined: 28 Nov 2008 Posts: 3752 Location: Star, Idaho another first with rat wacking i've stepped down off the power trip my new favorite gun.... my daisy 953 with a red dot i promised slavia some groups but this thing is toooooo much fun with cans and rodents i haven't punched paper at all.. no pic, just the usual story a fatty was in my duck's food bowl which is ceramic. i put the dot on it's heart/lung... "snap"- LOUD SQUEEK(ouch i'm dead)-PING (pellet hitting the bowl) that's at a smokin' 3.5 fpe on target. range was 25ish feet at night crosman 7.9 pointed @470 fps. zips right thru unless it's a head shot these little bastards have enough energy to run back into the ivy before they become possum food. they are evading all traps in my garage and still destroying everything. _________________ I believe in gun control, If there's a gun around I want to be controlling it.......   Posted: Sat Sep 04, 2010 4:21 am oddtodd Silver Status Member Joined: 30 Dec 2008 Posts: 2029 Location: Richmond, IN USA Usually with a big rat I hit em in the head, I get one good flip and they are dead.
