Bought an RWS 34 with the RWS 3-9 40AO scope package. Am disappointed with the clarity of the scope. I realize I shouldn't expect Leupold quality, but it seems to me that I should expect to be able to see the target clearly. Anyone had any experience with the RWS scope?? |

Package was from Airgun Depot. The scope is branded as RWS |

I had a RWS 4 x 32 and it was a piece of junk.... but then it didn't have an AO.... fixed focus at 50 yards and horrible parallax and blurry at close range.... even at 20 yards it was unusable....

i have two RWS scopes and they function fine. (they were NOT cheap at the time i purchased them, either...)
call airgun depot. they will probably exchange it for you.
be sure to adjust/focus the eye piece/reticle...otherwise... it will be blurry. |

Eye piece adjustment did the job. Thanks for the help. |

Ditto. I have the RWS 4-12x50 AO CL Mil dot and was having a tough time sighting with it. Then I read this thread, and backed the eye piece out a bunch (really easy to focus the reticle with the illumination turend on). Now it works really good. I've not had similar issues with my other scopes so this was not an obvious fix. Glad I came across this post! |
