I picked this up today and was looking for a little more info about it.

It has a serial number stanped on the side of the reciever and "Made In Shanghia, China" stamped on the top of the reciever. Everything appears to be real wood and metal.

It shoots very well and strong. It will penetrate a phone book about 1.25" with pointed .177 pellets from about 7 yards.

Welcome to AGH.

What Slavia said...

I'm impressed with the aesthetics of the stock.

I knew someone here would be able ID it for me and I appreciate it.

I was also impressed with the stocks condition. I assumed that it had been refinished when I first saw it until I saw the paper label on the side of the stock.

What I was most impressed with was its weight. I've got centerfire rifles that are not this heavy.

I've got a couple of pump up rifles and a new Crosman Phantom (the only place to shop locally is Wal-Mart).

I picked it up on a whim this morning thinking that I could not get hurt to bad for $20.

Definitely. Good bang for those 20 bucks. Build like AK's. Sort of. Mr. Green
