My first bb gun was a Red Rider some 20 years ago. My biological mother and 1st stepfather bought it and told me to go shoot it without supervision mind you. Didn't get into any real trouble with it until my sister and hr 350lbs friend ambushed me in the bathroom with a hair dryer and can of hair spray. Shot my sister in the ankle and nailed her friend in the rearend while she was bending over outside. These are the same parents that gave me a gas powered chainsaw when I was 6 years old. I tormented the children of Niles Township with it. Violent household, and violent movies with no parental guidence and that's what happens. Then came my 2nd stepfather who kept me in my bedroom with the exception of letting me go to school. He didn't allow me to have diddly squat. There's a couple more stepfathers but lets fast forward to present day. I'm an avid plinker and have used airsoft guns since I as 14 years old. Umarex finally released the MP5-K PDW bb gun and I jumped on it yesterday. It'll be here tomorrow.
If you guys would like to know anything else just ask. |

| The C02 MP5-K PDW came in about an hour ago. I'm quite impressed that it doesn't look like cheap junk, especially for $110. |

Let us know how it shoots.
It is a BB gun, so when you grow tired of it's inherent inaccuracy- you may already be 'hooked' and need to look at a pellet-gun proper! |

| When I get the chance I will but I don't know when that'l be as I live in an apartment. Sure I've shot airsoft guns in my apartment but with 6mm plastic bbs and 250fps there's no damage to walls if I miss. Pellet guns are nice but they're general purpose is hunting tiny animals like rodents. There's very few repeating pellet rifles in my price range. Loading a single pellet into the breech for every shot gets boring FAST to me. |

There's also a bunch of low powered pellet guns. If you're shooting paper targets, trust me that you'll want a decent pistol eventually, and when you look back you'll laugh your a$$ off. |

| I'm looking at getting an Umarex C02 USP next month that only shoots pellets. I've shot plenty airguns in the past, mostly with bbs. I shot plenty of filthly birds when I lived in Shipshewana, IN several years ago. My 4th stepfather kept finding dead birds up to six months after I moved out. Given a rifled barrel coupled with the shape of the round of course pellets are going to be more accurate. |

I'd like to see someone shoot a mouse with a .50 caliber Dragonslayer....
Welcome aboard! |

I take back my statement about the USP. After some reading it is infact a bb gun and not pellet.
Dude, that's nothing about the Mouse. I watched a guy blow apart a stray cat with his newly aquired 50AE Desert Eagle. |

| Apples and oranges... A Career Dragonslayer is an PCP air gun, not a powder burner like a desert eagle. |

While I like animals and the outdoors in general I must say I was quite impressed the way the cat exploded. I don't think the Career can make a body explode the way the Desert Eagle can.
Pretty neat shooting a bird though. All you hear is a thump and see feathers floating to the ground. |

Hm, if you see what a Career DS can do to car doors at a 100 yards... |
