i'd cut a little off. with a brake it'll be very long.

2-3 inches wouldn't hurt.

Don't worry Joe, he's just used to things a tad shorter. Twisted Evil Shocked

As long as it could fit in my case I don't care how long it is...looks like I have about 3.5" to spare and fit in the case. Chopping the barrel is just too invasive for me at this point w/a brand-new rifle.

A question: Are breaks rifled? I'm guessing they are not; how does this impact accuracy/power?

They shouldn't affect accuracy nor power. It has nothing to do with the barrel, just makes it easier to cock.

Unless it is a "special" brake, and Joe doesn't make those.

quit jacking lipoly's thread you couple 'o nimrods.

you'd like to know my "length". Faq-U

i'm gonna chop the barrel on my b-26 cuz it's a little front heavy.
adding a brake with a thumbhole stock will give it good balance.

Yo Lip, you should definately try and punch some long range paper. I'd really like to see some groupings past 50 yards. Exclamation

I'm going out to the farm next weekend and plan on pushing it out to ridiculous ranges.

Some pics of my new RWS 350...loving it so far (another thread regarding it: http://www.airgunhome.com/agforum/viewtopic.php?t=4839). Kudos to www.airgundepot.com for the speedy delivery and correcting a misunderstanding (I was under the impression it came w/RWS shooters kit...didn't come w/order, they went ahead and sent it no shipping charge).

That is the scope I was thinking of getting. How close is the scope from your eyes? It looks like you would be right on top of it.
