Hi, I'm new to this forum and have had a Crosman Storm XT for a couple years now but it broke. Just got a new spring in it and it works better than ever now. The only problem is that I dial my scope in and then the stock scope rings move. It pisses me off a lot because then I have to sight it in again, I've already tried using electrical tape around the scope and tightening it down but does nothing. Can someone recommend me a good 1 piece scope mount thats cheap?
Thanks in advance. |

First welcome to AirGunHome mcmahan.
Are the rings moving or is the scope moving within the rings?
Were the rings holding for the first 2 years? When you put the scope back on after the repair did you align the scope ring stop screw to the stop hole in the receiver and insure the screw was sticking out enough to hold the ring in place? Have you tried puting blue lock-tite on the screws to keep them from getting shaken loose? |

The scope is moving in the rings, I tried everything, tried putting tape around the scope then tighten it down and it still would move. I just put the rings all the way against the dials on the scope so that it couldn't move anymore but then the screws came loose. I think I would need a nice 1 piece scope mount but I'm not sure whats a good brand. |

You definitely need a good 1 piece mount. Preferably one with 4 screws on each ring. Get some double sided tape. Just one small piece on the bottom of the ring, and on the top should hold well. And add the smallest drop of blue loctite you can humanly get on the screws. |

The difference is the right height... Can probably get away with medium of you use a 40mm or smaller objective. Anything bigger and you will need high rings.
What scope do you use? Is it comfortable where it mounts, you can go higher so your cheek doesn't need to be pressed into the stock much. |

Well guys, I got it today and I love it, its perfect nice and high so my cheek isn't bothered at all. Its very nice and secure, comes with 2 extra screws too. I'd recommend this to many people so just to let people know its very nice. |
