The stock search options search for any word in any part of the text...these results are usually useless. A slightly improved method is to select "Search for all terms" which cuts down on the noise somewhat. The best way I have found is to use Google search directed to search only http://airgunhome.com/agforum and only the web page title (which the post's title is appended to). To do this, you either click on "Advanced search" on the google search, or use the parameters directly in the search. An example search to find only posts w/title containing "Marauder" would be... allintitle: marauder site:http://airgunhome.com/agforum You type this directly into the google search text box. You can combine titles by using an OR, for ex. allintitle: 1377 OR 2240 site:http://airgunhome.com/agforum This would find all posts pertaining to the Crossman 1377 or Crossman 2240 pistols. _________________ Philip RWS 350 .22 w/Leapers 4-16x50 Crossman 1377   Posted: Thu Apr 22, 2010 9:12 pm donec Senior Member Joined: 19 Dec 2009 Posts: 836 Location: central Texas Pflugerville area I think that only works for topics that were available the last time Google crawled AGH. I don't believe it crawls the "hidden" portions of the board- i.e. Rifles, Pistols, etc.- the areas you need to sign up to view. Google crawls this place regularly (i.e. at least daily), so if things aren't being picked up, this may be why. _________________ ` I'd say "I care." But I'd be lying. Unfortunately, it looks like you are right...I did a few tests and posts in the rifles section were not showing up...so much for that.
