6) NO rests or steadying aids are allowed.
7) 14 shots total, 1 at each Bull, Up to 5 sighting/practice shots not on the clock using the Green
8) 15 minutes total time (take whatever amount of time for each shot you like, but at 15 minutes-stop!).
9) Scoring is as marked on target. Only one hit per target counts. Maximum point count is 244
10) Entries need to be scanned or photographed and posted. Please list gun, pellet, sighting device and total time expended.
11) You can enter using both a pistol and a rifle as separate entries, only one entry for each, but all rules must be followed.
12) Score your own target. Winner and Runner-Up will be verified by board officials.
13) An honourable contest for sport- to lie or cheat, is the only real loser. Please keep it above-board!
14) Each competition runs for 2 weeks. Your entry must be posted in the forum no later than 23:00 GMT on the last Sunday.
15) These rules are for this week's shooting competition and may change for others

Haven't shot in a while... at least not here. Looks like there is some serious competition.
And, it shows.... left the door way open here!
Printed out the target and posted it. Wondered if I could see anything from position....
Can't see the dots, (didn't think I would) but I ended up holding on the outside circle.
So, for me, it really didn't matter what the inside dot was for all 14 shots.
Aimed the same place every time.

Just clarifying for my info - slings count as steadying aids, correct? (Not going to shoot the target - haven't had time and rifle is still in the break-in period - just wanted to know.) TIA, Michael |

Slings could be counted as a steadying aid, but I don't think anyone would mind on here. Just one thing don't use a sling to steady a Springer it just makes things worse.
