Rsterne's weed whacker line suggestion is very effective. Since you don't have powder fouling deposited with high temperature/pressure, a degreaser like Formula 409 (or even Windex) will work. The weed whacker line plus some patches fit nicely in a used pellet tin.

If you're on a range with really persnickety rules (where a range officer has to certify idle guns as unloaded): Open the action and slide the line down the bore so it sticks out on both ends. The bright neon color gives a quick visual indiction of unloaded status. We used this for 4H kids when they brought their own guns, but couldn't touch them unless they were on the firing line.

A variation on the string trimmer line method that I've also found to work is to cut a 50" length of .080 diameter line.

Thread one end through the breech and out the muzzle a few inches. Then insert the other end all the way through also out a few inches creating a loop in the line at the breech. Now align the two muzzle ends and pull completely through the barrel creating a natural crease in the loop.

Even the second .080 line, like the 3/32 In. vinyl-coated wire rope, is stiff enough to make it through the barrel without bunching.
