There is not much you can do to increase the output on the umarex range of replica pistols, they are not the easiest of guns to work on and any increase would be very little. they do shoot best in hot weather.

I can't think of one replica pistol that can be modified to increase out put by any degree, but there are plenty of rifles that can be modded, not replica of cause.
Have a look through the posts on this site and you will see plenty of modified guns. |

| I have a Umarex Colt pistol that I also want to increase the velocity on. I have no idea on how to dismantle it though. I'm thinking that by increasing the hammer spring tension a little may do something. One thing I have tried that helped a little was to replace the o-ring on the barrels breech. The pistol was shooting at a measly 200 ft/sec and it improved to 330 ft/sec. Getting the replacement o-ring was a trial and error thing, bought from different sources. There are several variations of the 3/8"O.D. o-rings that will fit, but you want the one that will give you a feelable pressure when pulling the trigger. The pressure being caused by the magazine against the breech as it turns. I have another Colt that shoots at 430 ft/sec and a CP99 that shoots at 390 ft/sec, all using the same Eley Wasp pellets. |
