So here's a very quick review: I'm shooting a 1 1/2 inch group at 30 yards which is great for me. I know some people wouldn't be happy unless they put every round through the same hole, but inch and a half is good to me. My only complaint about this gun is the rear sight, it's kind of a joke. There is no windage adjustment, and it is bent so that you cannot adjust it all the way down. That does indeed suck, but it came with a scope. I would like to have used see-through rings and still have my open sights, but what's the point with that rear sight like it is. In the reviews that I have read on this gun, people always say that they don't like the scope, but I find it to be pretty good. I would prefer variable power, but for a single power scope this is a good one. I could do without the illuminated retical, but you don't have to turn it on to use the scope. The mil-dot retical is nice too. I zeroed it in with cheap Crosman pointed pellets from walmart, and when I use a heavier Gamo rocket they hit right at the first dot down on the retical at 30 yards. It was about 60* F today and I was getting around 30 shots per Co2 cartridge. I honestly don't mind buying Co2, it's cheap and 30 shots is a fair amount. There are times when I only want to shoot 20 or 30 shots, so this way I am not forced to waste my Co2 like I would be if it got more shots or took an 88 gram tank or something. So all in all this is a great gun for recreational plinking, or even hunting. It can puncture a steel bottle cap at 30 yards, so it sure should kill a bird or squirrel. It's accurate, has a solid feel and it looks nice. The only other thing I should mention is that the stock does look a little rough in certain areas, this does not bother me and I'm not complaining about it, but I'm sure some people would be put off by it. Snipper does a great job at refinishing stocks if ya want to go that route... I give ya a few weeks shooting it and you will be hooked forever... he he he... it's a great platform to build from... and a good shooter right out of the box... I thought I would pose my brand new Crosman with my really old Crosman. That is a 760 Pumpmaster 25th anniversary edition. I've had it since I was 9 or 10. Speaking of pellets, I was planing on trying the hollow points next.
