because i spoil 'em then send 'em home. Laughing

my nephew just turned 10. he's a little guy so i bought him a tech force 6.
from the day he was born and i heard "it's a boy" i've been planning this!
since spawning is only something other people should do- not me- Laughing
i only get the fun part of the kids. Laughing

4 or 5 more years and there might be a ruger 10/22 in his future. Cool

suffice to say, he's happy. Cool

Good job; it's important on many levels. Like making a convert to shooting in general, and airgunning in particular. Like training a responsible shooter. Like providing a good role model.

And a big one they're just starting to figure out: For 100 years conservation and preservation efforts have been funded by user fees. Except the current crop of "users" would rather play video games than be outdoors, so funding is in peril. (See the Pittman-Robertson act of 1937 http://www.nraila.net/issues/FactSheets/Read.aspx?ID=103)

While I'm sure civic responsibility was on your mind, being the "cool" uncle and sharing a passion with family ain't all bad either.

absolutely right slavia!! i'm a big influence on him!

i had to step up to the title since his 42 year old LT COMMANDER-US NAVY father just walked out on him, my 13 year old niece and sister
6 months ago for a 23 year old college student. Evil or Very Mad

packed up his sh!t and moved to the other side of the country
with his dumb whore. Evil or Very Mad

the boy won't talk about too much but loves his family.

uncle takes the time. Cool

he's a good kid. very smart and responsible.
a mechanical gear head. i get to see him 3 times a year. Neutral

sorry for tmi. what an a$$hole. (his dad)

That rifle sure looks familiar Cool Cool As far as the blankety-blank "father" goes, try not to worry about him too much..."what goes around comes around", and as Earl Hickey will tell ya, KARMA ain't nothing to mess with Mr. Green Mr. Green Mr. Green Mr. Green

Being a dad isn't too bad either snippy umm I mean sniper. I love it when my son comes to ME wanting to shoot. His little Buck BB gun is getting a workout. It's fun. Fill it once and shoot for a week. lol The dogs are even getting into the act. My black lab goes and gets the bottles that he knocks off the fence. He's trained to bring me the starlings that I shoot, and he just decided to bring bottles that were laying on the ground too. come in handy.
