Today I felt like a kid at Christmas when the brown truck showed up.I'm really liking my 2300KT thus far.
"Crosman came through with my order in only 13 days, which was great considering I was told 3-6 weeks"This is my first Crosman pistol I've owned since 1985..."I had a 1377,and 357",and briefly owned a "Beeman-Webley Tempest"in 1991......wish I still had that one.....

I didn't think I would get back into air pistols again, but after seeing what some of the guys are doing as far as mods are concerned, and the simplicity of the 22xx platform,my mind was flooded with ideas,so the Crosman custom shop was calling.Since my 39th birthday is next Thursday, this is also a fantastic excuse.... Rolling Eyes

Some notable improvements over the stock version,is a nice black oxide steel trigger that is much better than the stock brass one..the wider face is nice. It's adjustable...another plus. The fit,and finish of the walnut sportsman grips is perfection.....

It's nice to have a supportive wife,to help me embrace my impending midlife crises, provided I don't play with my toys in the house.Oh C'mon!...it's not like I've ever considered, or used the hallway leading from the living room to the bathroom,as an indoor range or anything........and any rodents on the property are always completely safe..."the cat got the other one's I swear"... Razz Wink

Mr. Green

No the pics don't do it justice, the quality of the finish is nicer than on a regular 2240.They took the time to even remove the casting ridges,on the grip frame etc.. Wink

It just lost it's virginity with the first co2 cartridge.I had it sighted in pretty good, after 7 shots, but need to tighten her up a bit. After I play with trigger adjustment some.....all rats are through!! Twisted Evil

is there any play or slop in this new trigger design?

Overall the trigger is nice...there is some lateral play in the trigger, but can be fixed with a couple of Delrin shims. The break is fairly crisp, though somewhat gritty feeling. When I start modding tomorrow,I will polish out the sear, and trigger contact points.this should rectify the issue...
