For those of you who have priced a ready made SCBA hook-up for your PCP have probably been floored by the prices being charged. At one place it costs $183.50 shipped another is around $150...A fellow air gunner has taken it upon himself to find a distributor who sells the parts needed to build your own set up at a very low price. All you add is basic knowledge at assembly and good high pressure pipe dope. The green stuff sold at most plumbing supply houses or good hardware stores.Teflon tape is not recommended for high pressure air because it seems to often leak ever so slightly.
Here is a parts list with prices you will need and where to get them.
This is a parts list through North Shore Compressor:
LINK= http://www.northshorecompressor.com/parts/parts-and-accessories-2.html
F-06151 (hand tight CGA-347 nut and nipple) $34
A-B1115 (MxF 6000 PSI bleed valve) $23.99
F-01411 (1/4" FNPT Tee) $5.88
F-01115 (1/4" MNPT to 1/8" FNPT Bushing) $1.00
F-08110 (Paintball quick disconnect) $16.75
Total $81.62
5000 pound Gauges can be had very cheap by looking around on google
anywhere from $10 to $23
And this is for the male-to-male foster fitting so you can fill at paintball shops:
two of F-08111 (1/8" MNPT paintball nipples) $6.50 each, $13 for both
F-02152 (1/8" pipe coupler)
BUT if you plan on leaving your fill setup attached to your tank, you can save even more by using the wrench-tight style CGA-347 nipple and nut.
Hoses can be has at most paint ball supply houses or at =
http://www.ralstoninst.com/hoses/custom
Usually it's called "hydraulic test hose" or something similar.
I personally had a hose, gauge and bleeder so I saved even more money.
I will built mine for a total of $64.13 in parts but do not know total for shipping yet,but I was told North Shore is very reasonable on shipping rates
and only charges what it costs them
Here's to Ya !

I did add a small pressure gauge on the gun side( low side ).Also note you will need a 1/8" female pipe tee to do this but it is not necessary if you do not use the extra gauge. I also found a couple of parts not mentioned in the list above you will need mainly 2 close pipe nipples 1/4" and 1/8" in size.Of course this is probably because I used my own bleeder valve and added a small pressure gauge on the gun side of the hook-up.
Be sure to get all stainless parts! For safety issue!
#1. 1/4" close pipe nipple part # F01110 @ $1.20
#2 This was for my low side gauge, 1/8" pipe nipple #F02110 @$1.20
and a stainless 1/8" pipe-T Plumbing supply
I found a 5000psi oil filled pressure gauge at HarborFright for $12.99.
You will be able to see where I had to use the extra parts in my set-up
