I just bought a gamo viper in 177 cal.I shot 20 pellets and my groups went from tight to big.I noticed the barrel can be easily opened when I lock the barrel. It does not have a firm lock. Can these cause the barrel to drop a little and throw off my shots.
I plan on returning it today unless someone tells me different. |

The name explains it all... "Gamo".
I'm sure there's a fix, and someone with far more experience than myself can figure it out. However, I would just return it for a Diana. |

good news it shoots great now problem i did not clean it and the barrel is not broken in.After I ran a few patches got the lead out it started cutting into it self at 20 yards.
Happy now!
barrel lock up is fine I was just looking for a problem and that was not it.
Proper break in for air rifles was it. |

| I know how that goes. I have to clean pigeons and starlings out of my barn every month or so. I can't have them crapping on my hay balesand making the cattle sick. |

| Pigeons & seagulls suck. Our drians on the roof here at the office stay clogged from those stupid pigeons, & you cant go to Micky'D's or anywhere with food without getting harassed & crapped on by seagulls. Doesnt even bother me if people shoot them just for the fun of it, in fact I'm all for it. |
