I already have an RWS 94 which is fine for both targets and taking out varmints - plenty of power and decent accuracy - more on that later.
I am thinking of getting a lower power SPRING gun to teach the boys how to shoot in the basement. I like accuracy. I would like fairly easy cocking, and decent open sights - decent enough to train and shoot at 4-5m.
I don't like what I see at Walmart, and most decent guns at Dick's and on-line are too long in the pull length.
I am REALLY considering the IZH-61. Neat, cheaper, and I hear very accurate. But, no safety and possible mag issues.
Anything that has a short pull, decent quality and very good to excellent accuracy?
(BTW - how are the newer Chinese guns - they look VERY well made to me).

| Crosman Raven is a short pull, break=barrel ..about 600fps I think.. cocking effort IIRC is low about $70.00 from Pyramyd. |
