I am looking for details of the break-down of the form of the barrel and the interior of the breech of the Benjamin Legacy 1000 and / or Remington Genesis and / or Corsman Tac 77 (photos, graphs, etc), already I have the planes of Crosman's break-down, it appreciates the completion of the barrel, but not of the interior of the breech.
In addition it wanted to know if this one installed to high pressure or if Crosman uses some component to fix this point, the dimensions of the low screw, and the blockade of the pins.
In the excellent site of air gun Airgunsmith.com I found a photo of an unarmed Legacy but of very low resolution.
This detail can serve the owners of these models to solve eventual problems of misalignment of the barrel, change of caliber, etc.
Also if you can comment on me if the chamber of compression and the breech they are the same of the NPSS, or only the stock?, we will be able that we have a Benjamin Legacy 1000 and / or Remington Genesis and / or Corsman Tac 77 to place a gas piston? Or to place the barrel of the NPSS?

Thank you very much for your help

I have seen/owned...Is the barrel latch has a cross pin..
between the breech fork that the spring loaded wedge in the
barrels breech ingages with...

I tryed to buy a Benjamin Legacy ..same gun as the Remington
Genesis but a .22 version...The first & only one I have ever seen
The dick thought it was worth gold.. Crying or Very sad

I would like to assist, but am having problems fully understanding the questions.

The Benjamin SuperStreak also uses the same platform, but with a larger tube/spring- if this might assist you in any way(?).

Hello Eric I am not sure that the Super Streak has the same platform, believe that it has that of the Phantom/quest/g1 etc. These do not have screw below in the breech,
I want to see the detail of end of the barrel and the breech inside, and the length of the screw of the Legacy/Genesis/Tac 77 (provably NPSS)

The graph, but realized good, or the photos are of this section:

http://www.airgunsmith.com/manual/bushinginstall.pdf

Sorry for my English, my native language is Spanish.

Thank you very much for answering.

The NPSS's, SuperStreak, Genesis, and Tac 77 Elite are all using the Legacy platform- no debate, no question, they are the same root. The Quest/Phantom platform is not the same- and the SuperStreak does not use it.

That being said, I could look at a couple of these rifles to try to offer more information, but am away from the office until the week-end so I cannot look until then.

The Super Streak and the Phantom/Quest/G1/B18/B19 family are not the same - the part numbers are very different:
http://www.crosman.com/airguns/service/manuals
You are correct that they do not have the breech screw - there is a single part number for the barrel/breech assembly in each case.

The Genesis/Legacy designs list separate part numbers for the barrel and breech. The barrel is held in the breech block by a setscrew that comes up from underneath:

Genesis

Legacy

Hello:
KANYON:
I would like to see these photos and to know as the barrel removed, Was easy?, Is it to high pressure?

Thank you very much.

ERIC:
Eric
The Super Streak shows the barrel and the breech as a piece, does not have screw of below and the lever of compression is broken, does not continue, because of it my doubt, at least in these pieces there are differences.
See SLAVIA coments.

Thanks.

SLAVIA:
I do not have problems now with the TAC 77, but I want to know if:

- I can remove the barrel without problems.
- To change the barrel and / or breech for 5.5.
- to put a gas ram.
- eventually I itself repair any misalignment.

I have the planes of break-down, it wanted to know if someone has had to dismantle the pieces to align the cannon.

Thank you for your interest.

Thanks to all for your time.

You can get a Crosman nitro piston, but you would have to contact Pyramydair and/or Crosman to see if it will fit:
http://www.pyramydair.com/s/a/Crosman_Nitro_Piston_Conversion_Fits_Many_Gamo_Rifles/2103

Using the Legacy as an example: All the parts for the .22 and .177 versions have the same part numbers, except for the barrel and breech block. You may wind up changing both to switch calibers. Again, talk to Crosman.
