Have a 177 pellet gun (old) - no stock on it.

I have never heard of this name?
Does anyone know anything about it ?
Thanks

Dianawerk made some guns from 1922-1940 using the name "Gecado". It should be the same gun as the Diana Model 16- just with the slight name difference. The Model 16 was made again from 1950-1985 but had 'Diana' on it instead of Gecado. I gather they are not worth much from a financial point-of-view, but are still interesting as a pre-WWII airgun. |

Thanks Eric
I did some more googling today and did eventually figure out
its Diana...I was not sure of the year though. ist a neat little thing
but the stock is missing. I'm really glad I picked up an F1 Chony
yesterday...now I can see how fast it shoots... |

Dear Paul,
We refer to your mail dd. January 22.
GECADO was a Product of our company.
Under this brand we sold our air rifles and air pistols in the UK.
Model 16 was produced between 1950 and 1985. It’s length was 84 cm, weight 1,2 kg, calibre 4,5 mm
and was equipped with a smooth barrel.
Best regards,

So this thing must be for kids...easy to cock...goes 250FPS...smooth bore.
Good to chase a squirrel away without having to perform first aid on it. |

Anyone know of the Gecado Model 6? I need some parts. I'll Google Diana and see.

I believe the Model 6 was very nearly the same design as the Model 5. Both were apparently discontinued in the late 1970s. Perhaps parts are still available- let us know what Diana has to say, it would be interesting to see how long they typically have inventory on older parts.
