I lost about 20 knives(including my Ak-47 bayonet and my leatherman wave ) The one with the skull is the one I carry around with me all the time. I refurbished it about 6 months ago. Is it difficult to do? It looks pretty cool. Also, what kind of wood is good to make handles out of? well it is a funny story, that metal when i was in scouts a leader gave it to us to use to build a fire on (it was in the winter) i took it home and it has been outside for years an has no rust so i guess it is stainless steel but is is hard as hell!!! holds a good bloody edge though.. i would suggest a softer wood, i made a stock out of birch, very nice but most stocks are made of walnut also very nice and easy to carve walnut is good for a handle because it is very decay resistant.I made a knife handle out of soft maple i would reccomend it most because it finishes nicely and is easy eneugh to get. but stay away from stuff like pine especially for a stock it will look like crap!!
