Mason jars with tomato sauce. Because your wife for some reason decides to hide them directly behind the pellet trap in the basement. The pellet trap that didn't trap on that occasion, because the new Crosman G1 has more oomph than the old Slavia 631.

Denty Moore beef stew cans. I knock them over and then stand them up. Or just get them to roll and see how far I can get them to go and still hit them or drive them around obstacles. You can put a little English on them shooting them high, low, left or right.

When I was young I liked to hang a pop can from a tree and shoot it till half of it would fall to the ground.

Going to the dump and shooting bottles was always fun too.

Cheep plastic bobbers too. We would throw them out in the pond when there was some wind to make waves. The trick was to shoot them just when they hit the top of the wave just before they started down.

I'd have to say my gamo knock down squirrel target. I've got the next to the smallest hole on it and I hit 4 out of 5 with my new 2300 pistol. I want this:http://www.pyramydair.com/s/a/Gamo_MTS_1000_Moving_Target_System/1387

I also found blueprints of a carnival target wagon. I am going to build bits and pieces of it.

empty soda cans filled with water are my number one, the spray and ripping of the can always gets me. if there was a place to shoot bottles that wouldn't risk anyone or anything getting cut that might be fun. old fruit is a good one, especially to get an idea for what different pellets do to live game

marbles,dog food pebels,rocks,eggs,q tips heads,small coins,ice blocks,pencils(shoot off the eraser) picture of people or things I dislike lol.
I can go on and on ,but im going to buy some cherry tomatos today and blast those (thanks sniper)

Has anyone tried the VisiChalk Ferris Wheel Target System? It sounds like it could be a lot of fun since it turns as you shoot, maybe shooting fast can get it to turn at different speeds. Anyone know?

if you buy enough silly putty to make a fat cake about 3" wide by 1 1/2-2" tall it works well for testing expansion. shot some from ten yards and it didn't even go through with a pointed pellet

I like to shoot empty plastic shotgun shells(found in abundance at many ranges). They give you excellent visual and audible feedback. If you hit them dead center just above the center of gravity, they will flip 3 feet up in the air -- I used a 600 fps gun and flat head pellets. This demonstration is very impressive to onlookers, too.

I also use these targets on top of crusted snow. As they are repeatedly hit, they move farther and farther away, challenging the shooter at his/her level of skill. Be careful where the pellets go, as they will skip and travel a great distance.
