OK, I know I've become obsessed with scopes and sighting in and such Dead Horse

and, I appreciate everybody bearing with me while I try to get Disco performance from my springers...(clearing my throat Smile

) Have you any info/experience on this scope? It looks awesome and, the price is right!!!

I don't think you're obsesssed- you just wanna get it right..I for one, can understand that....if it's not what you want/like, then it takes away from the enjoyment of shooting...and that is just unacceptable.....if you get that one are oyu gonna sell me the old one that I talked about in my other post??? It would work good enough for the gun I intend to put it on...lemme know. Thanks, Rodger

I suggest a Centerpoint, Leapers, or BSA 3-9x. Preference to a 32mm objective. Normally when I do any shooting it's on 3 or 4x (both for my super streak and Diana 34). The low magnification helps to smooth out movement and give a large picture on possibly moving game. On a lighter rifle a heavier scope might make all the difference (for good or bad), it can also balance a heavier rifle better. For example with a lighter scope on my SS it is very front heavy. With the stock 4-16x40 (17 ounces?), it balances much better by putting weight in the back. The Diana 34 does better with a light scope because it is back-heavy.

Lower magnification helps to focus better when you have the AO set at 15yds, and the target is at 35... etc... When taking a well aimed shot this is no excuse to up the magnification and properly focus the objective (if you have an AO). A good scope will not change POI through different focuses or magnifications.

EDIT: make sure you properly mount whatever optic you may choose. If you don't, it will be just as bad as using a POS (if not worse). My properly mounted POS will shoot better than your S'y mounted $1000 scope.
