I wanted to show you my 1377. I stripped the frame and went with a satin finish and then I painted the front and rear sight to complete the look I wanted. I'm very happy with the outcome. The sights actually match the frame better than what the pictures show. It must be the way the light reflects off each surface.
Here is the way it looked from the store. Those grips are so ugly.
My first step was to paint the grips.
Then I topped it off with a red dot sight using the 459MT scope mounts.
My next step was I used a rotating wire brush and removed the black paint from the frame and then painted the front sight/barrel band and rear sight. I love it!
Here is a link to the steps on taking down the gun getting it ready for the wire brushing.

| I like it! the grips look so much nicer than the stock ones and the wire brushed accents really set it off! |

Thanks all. It was a fun and easy project. I'm very happy with the outcome.
I wish you could see the coloring of sights better. In the pictures, they look like primer gray. But in real life, they match the brushed frame nicely. I'm lovin' it. |

| It's beautiful - much less "toy" looking than original. All your changes complement each other, even the new grip screws. |

The original grips are indeed horrible. I covered mine with putty and used epoxy to glue fine black sand to them like this:
It would look great on your gun!
