It's very well possible, that it's that picky.

These rifles are constructed a bit weird. The system isn't flawless. There's been reports of wear and tear at over a 1000 shots.

That's why I suggested another rifle, and I didn't know the name back hen, but you'd be better off with FX Revolution in my opinion. Neutral

Maybe not as pretty but better constructed.

Make sure you get the right pellets for this rifle. Also be carefull with lubing this thing. They can be a b!tch when to much is applied.

I'd send it back, and not fool around to much with it. One mistake and with this rifle, you're screwed. Neutral

..extreamly dissapointed..i tried the rifle power...compare it with my Webly & Scott ht rs springer... the springer was ALOT stronger Shocked ..i think im gonna head back to springers..they have more hit power....and cheaper....simple..... Rolling Eyes
paid 400 $ for scuba tank
1500 $ for fx monsoon + scope...
and all for nothing....

....the Diana rws 460 magnum is only 400 $ here...

made a big mistake Neutral

Dude, you just have a bad one. Don't give up that easily man. Wink You'll come around once you had a good go with an Air Arms S400 classic FAC, and that's a promise. Exclamation

What he said Your going to get more fpe,and long range accuracy with a good pcp bud...I would try to exchange yours for another one,as the Monsoon should be hitting pretty hard.

I personally owned a discovery and I hated it so bad I sold it for lesst than half of what I paid for it. Springers and CO2 RULE for ease of use.

Now now, be fair Todd, you sold it for a reason! If you would have a pump or a refill station near you, would you still say that? Wink

Yeah I would anton. lol I don't care if somebody gave me all the side gear I still woulkdn't want one. There's just too much junk that has to go along with it. Either one quick break barrel and I can go on all day, or 40 shots out of a small easy to tote CO2 cartridge. There's just too much stuff for me to afford. I can''t see me carrying a monster tank just to fill for 20 or 30 shots. I'll never own another one.

True, true, but in a PCP's defence, you pretty much had a Disco, and it's performance certainly doesn't speak for a large range of, agreed; less affordable, airguns. Exclamation Up the ladder are some rifles with a good amount of power and over a 100 shots.
