We all know it's best to try different types of pellets through your ag's. And I'm slowly broadening the different styles, brands and types of pellets I have on hand to feed my 2300 and Discovery.
I'm about to do an order via Pyramid. I walked into a really great deal on a scope, but my local gun shop doesn't have the right rings to mount it. So while ordering rings, thought I'd add to my pellet selection.
I'd like to take advantage of pyramid's buy 3 get 4th promotion. Unfortunilly type of pellet I cannot get around here is on back order from them as well. I don't wanna hold up my order waitiing, so I could use some other suggestions.
First off, I have on hand right now.
2 tins of Crosman Premier pointed
1 tin of Predator's
1 tin of Beeman Kodiak's
1 tin of Beeman Ram Jet
1 tin of Beeman Silver Arrow
I'm about to order......
1 Beeman Crow mags (on back order)
1 JSB monster
1 JSB jumbo heavy
1 Predadtor Big Boy
Since the crow mags are on back order, I'd like to try something else...suggstions?
Thanks

| A good cheap pellet, believe it or not is the Gamo Hunter.Ugly looking but I shoot clover leaf,or one holers all day out of my Disco .22 from the bench.Crow mags, are great too, but pricey for target shooting,at least for me. |

| A surprise performer for me was the Crosman Field Points (only ones that come in a small milk carton of 1250). .177 only for that quantity (never tried .22). Price point and "plinking" accuracy makes them a hit. Will do OK on critters, but much prefer super domes for that. |

I agree with you there..I was getting my best, and most consistent groups with these in .177 out of the Disco, before I converted it to .22. |
