I see posters syaing they have a "bam-26" ( as an example) is it a supplier, distributor ???? Pardon my ignorance,,after all I am still a newbie _________________ HEY !! Also known as Xisico, Industry Brand and some others. They're tinker-guns. "Xisico" is a US import agent, "Industry Brand" is a different company, but they seem to have stolen some designs from one another. The lower-end BAM products are generally poor quality and a waste of time (Models B1, B2, B3, B4). People seem to like the mid-range (i.e. B11, B12, B18, B19, B22) and higher-end (B26, B40, B51, etc.) items alot better. So it really come down to which specific rifle you are talking about as to whether it is worhwhile. _________________ ` I'd say "I care." But I'd be lying. THIS SITE ROCKS !!! I googled xisico, and found that the XB-25 appears to be my Stormxt, just with a different name/designation. The B25-2 stock shape is fairly close to the stock of my Storm. I can use the photo of the b25-2 to layout pattern for removing wood from my Storm stock! First though, I'm gonna check into just buying the B25-2 stock..that would give my storm the look I want, PLUS I'd have the std. stock if I ever decided to put the Storm back to factory standard!!! All depends on the $$$..I'm not only a packrat...I'm a cheap one as well...AKA "frugal" HA!! _________________ HEY !! Well DANG IT !!! Just my luck, as usual...Oh well ! At least it does show me the cut-out portion of the stock, which gives me a fairly good idea of where and how much I can remove from the factory stock..so I'm gonna go with that.......just would have been nice to remove/replace and keep the stock component for "just in case" situation. Thanks for letting me know before I got my hopes up too high.. should have known that that would have been too good 2 b true. One more question--if it doesn't work then I'll give up the idea and just do my own !! My question is : Would the synthetic stock from the B-16 fit up on my Storm?? TIA you guys are a wealth of information.... I see that "Cobra " offers a bunch of bams....learn something everyday. _________________ HEY !! The reason is that cloning is stealing, plain and simple. It should be called what it is. Honest R&D costs big money. Cloning is the theft of that R&D. That's one reason the clone can be offered for less money. The R&D portion was stolen to begin with. Buying a clone in my mind is no different than buying a stereo out of Vinnie's van that you know was stolen. I know I'm pretty much alone on this, but I'm used to it. Most parts are made in China these days. The real thieves are the people who put big prices on stuff that's really not all that better. That being said, I have yet to see a real good "clone" of the rifles I love.
