Crosman will be releasing a new version of the Discovery this Friday. From what I hear it is an exclusive deal between them, and P.A.I wonder what the upgrades are going to be?I would love to see a Marauder trigger block on it!!!!I guess this explains why there have been such great deals on the old Disco, and pump combo as of late? Thumb Up!

Very interesting....

Filename contains the word "Katana", a Japanese sword:

"On Friday, everything will be clear."

Ahhhhhhh! There she is.Looks to be a new stock from what I can see so far.Like I said,I hope to see a Marauder trigger block, and perhaps a choked barrel etc.If that's the case It's going to fly of the shelves I feel. Mr. Green

This was posted on a UK board, without reference:

Benjemin 3rd PCP to the prom. A remake of popular Discovery platform. w/ MDR match trigger. Iron sights, Nice wood,Hopefully quiet! . One good thing Crosman listens to what we want. something not to many US companys do.

No word of price yet,but I really don't think P.A. should have exclusive rights to the deal.No competition means they can charge what they want, within reason of course... Rolling EyesI also don't think it would be fair to other Crosman product merchants.I might be wrong, but I would think that if more merchants could be included, then Crosman can set a MAP price like they did with the Marauder,so they could move more units overall Question

it's funny seeing airguns made like computers. every 6 months a "better" one comes out. a year ago tim (mac-1) was selling 30 or so discos a month. then the marauder came and the disco died.

i'll have no problem in 2 years selling my gen-1 marauder for the next one. Mr. Green

i looked at the pic. looks to be a disco with a marauder stock/trigger.
level 4 on noise... still loud as hell.. still, another $100 and you have a marauder....

Shouldn't you be able to fit a Mrod stock onto a disco fitted with Mrod trigger group?

Will the disco stock fit?

My next rifle will definitely make good friends with some camo tape...

well yeah there would be some fitting mods.(i don't know if they're the same Question ) that's what it looks like to me.
the thing i did love about my disco was the stock. very good fit and form for a carbine.

for those who have shot a marauder...... NICE FRIKKEN STOCK!

it will be a good improvement in balance. IMO

on the mrauder.... hold it in the palm of your hand (scoped and loaded) just forward of the trigger...totally level and balanced... Smile

Well in any event it's going to be interesting to see how they tweeked the new version.I agree with sniper though, unless they keep the price close to the original version, just spend the extra on the Maudi.I can't complain though about my Disco.$269.00 out the door with the pump was a good thing!.With a little more tweeking I will have the perfect rifle for my needs. The Marauder uses a larger diameter air tube than the Disco, so the stocks would not be interchangeable IMHO....
